Each of our sterile compounds are prepared in ISO-certified clean rooms at our headquarters in Wylie, Texas.
Sterile compounding involves preparing a medication in an environment free from bacteria, viruses, or any other potentially infectious microorganisms. According to the United States Pharmacopeia, Sterile compounding is further defined to include any manipulation of sterile or non-sterile products intended to produce a sterile final product. This type of compounding is used for medications that will be administered either IM, IV injections or directly into the eyes.
